A private boat tour in Hurghada is more affordable than most travelers expect. Here is how to get the best value for your money.
Most Affordable Tours
Our Private Snorkeling Adventure (€110 per boat, up to 6 guests) is the most affordable option. Split among a group, that is under €20 per person for a 3-hour private experience. The Orange Bay Half Day and Eden Island Escape (€120 and €110 per boat respectively) offer similar value. For couples, the Love Trip for Two (€150 for the whole boat) works out to €75 per person for a private sunset experience with wine and fruit — exceptional value compared to dinner at a resort.
How to Save More
Three ways to lower your cost: book morning departures (8 am slots are the same price but give you the best conditions), bring your own snorkel mask (saves a small equipment fee, and you get a better fit), and group up — the per-boat pricing means larger groups pay significantly less per person. A group of 6 on the Orange Bay tour pays €20 per person.
What You Get for Your Money
Every tour includes a private speedboat (not shared with strangers), an experienced captain, hotel pickup and drop-off, snorkeling equipment, life jackets, soft drinks and water, fresh fruit and snacks, and a freshwater shower on return. No hidden fees are added during or after the trip. Our prices are all-inclusive for the boat and duration listed.
What Costs Extra
Island entry fees (€5 to €10 per person depending on the island) are not included in the base tour price. Gratuities for the captain are at your discretion. Lunch is not served on our tours, though snacks and fruit are provided. That is the complete list of extras — there are no surprise charges for fuel, equipment, or transfer distance.
Is It Worth It?
A private speedboat tour costs roughly the same as a group yacht tour once you factor in the personalized experience, flexible timing, and the fact that you are not sharing the boat with strangers. For the difference of a few euros per person, the private experience is significantly better. Our guests consistently tell us it was the best money they spent in Hurghada.
